Naomi Pickinpough

I hadn't planned on leaving quite yet but our Sweet Lord had different plans for me. I left my earthly home to live in his Eternal Kingdom on February 4, 2014 in Scottsbluff, Nebraska. But, in the meantime, I was born I was born on April 28th, 1948, to George and Naomi Anderson in Washington, Pennsylvania. But I wasn't alone! I had a "womb" mate for those nine months! A twin brother George, (Bo)! Ten years later in Wyandotte, Michigan, mom and dad gave us a real baby to play with, our sister Sandy! Our family was complete! I finished all of my schooling in Wyandotte by 1966 then married my first husband Jim to whom our precious children, son Scott and daughter Sherry were born. A couple of living spots came after, Colorado, Wyoming and Nebraska. Jim and I divorced in 1985. After 7 years single, I married my "Soul Mate" Michael on December 26th 1992 in Scottsbluff. By that time, I was in nursing school and ready for my career! I became an LPN-C and worked at Regional West Medical Center. First in RCU for five years then to OPS for almost 13 years. My co-workers in OPS became my second family whom I loved dearly! To them and my friends in pre and post-op, "I was privileged to have worked with all of you!"

Preceding me to God's paradise were my parents, George and Naomi Anderson, several aunts and uncles, and one cousin, Phillip. In-laws Leland and Bonna Pickinpough and one niece in-law, Lenaya.

Those left behind are the loved of my life "Michael", daughter Sherri Lynn, son Scott Bryan, brother George and sister Sandy. Grandchildren, Kelsey, Jacob, Camden, Callie, and Aiden. Along with numerous nieces, nephews and special cousins in Pennsylvania.

A "Celebration of Life" mass will be held at St. Agnes Catholic Church 10:00 a.m. Saturday, February 8, 2014 with Fr. Vince Parsons officiating. Inurnment will be in Fairview Cemetery. A memorial has been established to Festival of Hope. Tributes of sympathy may be left at

Do not weep for me for "I" am the lucky one!
