SagamoreHill Broadcasting is selling CBS affiliate KGWN-KSTF Cheyenne, Wyo.-Scottsbluff, Neb., to Yellowstone Holdings LLC, according to Kalil & Co., which brokered the deal.

Yellowstone, based in California, is owned by Frontier Media, which has two dozen radio stations, a Fox/ABC television station in Macon, Georgia and reportedly is also purchasing NBC affilitate KCHY TV out of Casper, which is NBC for local Dish customers.

KGWN-TV General Manager Lee Wagner says the purchase is subject to FCC approval over the next sixty to ninety days. Wagner says the new company plans to replace the microwave system between Scottsbluff and Cheyenne, which he says will provide an improved and more consistent signal. Wagner also says they plan to have more of a presence in Scottsbluff, but a decision as to whether a news operation will be based in the Bluffs again has yet to be determined.
