Platte Valley Bank Gering branch opens
Platte Valley Companies Gering branch opened Tuesday prior to a grand opening ceremony later in the evening from 5 p.m. to 6:30. Final construction on the 3,900 square foot facility, which began in January, is still being completed.
Branch Manager Tammy Hoffman says half of the building is the large community room, which is open to any organization without political or religious affiliation.
Four people will work in the building, including three tellers. Hoffman says the bank will provide any type of consumer loan but mortgage and commercial loans will still be done at the main location.
Baker & Associates Inc. and Studio 120 Architecture designed the building. Anderson & Shaw Construction, Inc. is the general contractor on the project.
