Military defense lawyer to speak at WNCC
Incidents during the "fog of war" in Afghanistan and Iraq have resulted in numerous charges against American servicemen and servicewomen. A military defense lawyer who specializes in defending these soldiers will be speaking at Western Nebraska Community College this Friday.
Joseph Hawkins Low IV, a retired U.S. Marine himself, will talk about how he has taken on and won these cases through re-enactment of firefights and walking in his clients' boots by returning to the scene of where the cases took place, often in enemy held territories.
Low, who also specializes in providing support and assistance to clients who struggle with post-traumatic stress issues and helping veterans in their return to civilian life, will deliver an interesting talk at WNCC this Friday at noon.
