Panhandle BPW Woman of the Year named

The Panhandle Business and Professional Women organization announced their Woman of the Year Wednesday. Each year, their Legislation Committee reviews applications and with a panel of judges, they choose one candidate to be the Woman of the Year.

This year's BPW Woman of the Year is Bridget Peck. She is an Assistant Vice President at Nationstar Mortgage, with responsibility for Operational Controls and Examinations. She has worked for Nationstar Mortgage for 9 months. Previously, she was a Vice President at Aurora Bank for 10 years.

At Aurora Bank, Bridget was honored as an Employee of the Month and a Circle of Excellence Employee. Bridget holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and currently serves on the boards of the Scottsbluff Country Club, St. Agnes School Foundation and Joyful Noise at Gering Zion Church.

Her husband of 12 years, Jeff Peck, owns and operates Intralinks Inc, a technology consulting firm. They have two children, and three beagles.
