Dedic purchases Taco Town

A 36 year old native of Scottsbluff is the new owner of Taco Town. Justin Dedic opened Monday as the new boss after purchasing the business from long-time owners Larry and Rosemarie Ross.

Dedic, who spent time in marketing and sales in Denver after graduating from UNL, says he always liked the food at the restaurant while growing up. Dedic, a 1995 Scottsbluff High graduate, returned to the area last February.

Dedic says the same recipes and food will be used but indicated he would like to have the business more of a restaurant where people can come in, sit down and eat. To that end, he will have some TV's inside, and will make application for a liquor license that will feature beers, wines, and margaritas.

Dedic says many of the employees have stayed. The restaurant currently has 9 employees and wants to expand that number to 12.

Dedic is married and has two children.
