Eagle Med grand opening this Saturday
Eagle Med, the new medical transport business at the airport, will hold a grand opening Saturday beginning at 11 a.m. The new business has been busy since beginning operations in September, providing alternate emergency response and transportation for medical patients in the area.

TCD Executive Director Rawnda Pierce says with a fixed wing plane, Eagle Med can provide emergency service when the Air Link helicopter cannot due to weather. Many of Eagle Med's flights are scheduled transports from one facility to another.
Eagle Med employs 14 people, all with higher salaries and benefits that make the company a great contributor to the area's economy.
