Logan sentenced in child sexual assault case
A 51 year old Scottsbluff man charged with the sexual assault of a twelve year old child was sentenced in Scotts Bluff County District Court Wednesday.
District Judge Leo Dobrovolny sentenced Robert Logan to serve five years in prison on each of two counts of 3rd degree sexual assault of a child, with each sentence to be served consecutively.
Logan was arrested in February of this year after a 12 year old girl told investigators the assaults took place at the same location in the suspect's residence and began in the fall of 2011. The child told State Patrol Investigator Stacy Lundgren that the assaults occured more than once and that the suspect would "add" things he would do to her each time. The child recalled two specific incidents, the last one February 23rd of 2012.
Logan was also ordered to register as a sex offender.
