Producers fundraising for Dishong documentary
The producers of the documentary on iconic Scottsbluff television anchor Jerry Dishong says they are looking for financial help to continue with the film. Mark Meisenheimer, who worked at KDUH TV before establishing his own production company, says they need about $3,000 for traveling expenses to do additional interviews to complete the film.
Meisenheimer says they would like to have the money raised by Sunday, and already 32 people have raised over $1,400. Meisenheimer says they are also planning to submit the video to numerous film festivals in 2014 and are hoping a television network will see the value in showing the production.
Meisenheimer has been in Scottsbluff a couple times to do interviews with Dishong, do interviews with others who know him and take shots of the North Platte Valley. Below is the link to contribute.
