4 Chadron residents arrested as part of sting operation

Four Chadron residents were arrested Wednesday night on drugs, terroristic threats, and child abuse charges.

Chadron Police say 18 year old Carlos Carmona and 22 year old Joshua Carder were taken into custody as part of a sting operation conducted by Chadron Police where Carmona sold marijuana to an officer. Police also say the two threatened a witness following the sale.

Police then obtained a search warrant for a home where Carmona had received the marijuana and arrested 22 year old Joe King and 20 year old Brandee Jackson on drug charges and child abuse. Police say they seized marijuana packaged for delivery, marijuana pipes, cash, and cellular phones. A two year old child was also taken from the home.

Carmona is charged with delivery of marijuana, terroristic threats and is being detained by U.S, immigration officials. Cardona is charged with being an accessory to the drug delivery and terroristic threats. King and Jackson were charged with a combination of possession with intent to deliver marijuana, delivery of marijuana and felony child abuse.
