Harley motorcycle rally this weekend in Gering

Gering, Scottsbluff and Western Nebraska will welcome over 200 Harley Davidson motorcycle owners-riders Friday thru Sunday this weekend or the Harley Owners Group (H.O.G.) Annual Nebraska State H.O.G. Rally.

Karla Niedan-Streeks, Executive Director of the Gering Convention & Visitors Bureau encourages residents in Gering and Scottsbluff to line the parade route along 10th Street in Gering and Broadway in Scottsbluff this Sunday morning (May 26th) to experience 100+ Harley motorcycles riding in formation, two by two, through the downtown areas.

Sunday's parade is from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 am; departing from the Gering Civic Center parking lot and heading north along 10th Street, north on the Scottsbluff-Gering Highway and through downtown Scottsbluff on Broadway. The parade route will return to Gering via Highway 71 Expressway, back to the Gering Civic Center for Rally Closing Ceremonies.

The Annual Nebraska State H.O.G. Rally is the largest Harley Davidson motorcycle event held in the state. The State Rally events are for H.O.G. members only; however the public is invited as spectators for Saturday evening's bike games (7:45 pm to 9:00 pm) in the Civic Center parking lot prior to Sunday's parade.
