Man found north of Lusk was meeting suspect for marijuana deal

BOULDER, Colo. (AP) _ Authorities say a Colorado man found dead north of Lusk Wyoming last week was scheduled to meet one of the suspects in his murder for a marijuana deal.

The Boulder Daily Camera reports an arrest report released by the Boulder County Jail on Monday says 25-year-old Nathaniel Tallman of Lafayette was headed to meet 58-year-old Russell Britton on Jan. 21.

Investigators say phone records show Tallman called Britton several times on the way to the meeting, and the last known location of his cellphone was near Britton's Larimer County home just before 8 p.m.

Tallman was found shot to death outside Lusk, Wyo. last Thursday. The report says investigators found blood in Britton's van that matched Tallman's DNA.

Britton and 26-year-old Moises Cazares Mendez were arrested over the weekend on suspicion of first-degree murder.
