Sharon Jean Holloway, 63, of Scottsbluff passed away on Sunday April 8, 2018.
A memorial service will be held at 10:00 am on Monday April 16th at the First United Methodist Church in Scottsbluff with Pastor Craig Collins officiating.
Sharon was born September 3, 1954 in Milbank South Dakota to Dale and Gladys (Pruno) Grothe. She graduated from Milbank High School in 1972. After high school she moved to Nebraska and married. From that union, two sons were born, Shawn and Chad. Later in life she married Ken Holloway on February 14, 1994.
Sharon enjoyed horses and horseback riding. She enjoyed spending time with her family and was always smiling. She will be remembered for being kind, caring and outgoing. She liked to shop and loved living out in the country where she could have all kinds of different animals to care for. She worked over 30 years at the Western Nebraska Veterans Home and she also worked at the Gaslight restaurant.
Sharon is survived by her husband, Ken Holloway of Scottsbluff; son Chad (Joni) Cowan of Gering; granddaughter Brianna Cowan; and nephew Chris (Cari) Lind of Scottsbluff.
She is proceeded in death by her parents; infant son Shawn Cowan; sister Sheila Randall; and nephew Tyler Lind.
