Another stormy and colder weekend forecast

It appears as if this weekend will be another one of those where it will be difficult for outdoor activities.

KNEB Meteorologist Don Watzel says we have a new storm system starting to enter the picture in the far southwest that has a good chance of dropping a lot of rain.

Watzel said,” they could be slow movers and if that occurs could drop a lot of rain in localized areas over a short amount of time Thursday night.  And as the main storm moves through central and eastern Colorado, that puts the panhandle in line for pretty widespread  showers Friday, Friday night and into Saturday, and some of these could also bring a lot of rain. ”

Temperatures will also start to drop, especially Saturday when the highs are not forecast to be more than the mid to upper 40’s.
