The owners and representatives of Elite Health Center held a public ground breaking ceremony Tuesday as they begin the construction of a multi-tenant health and wellness complex on the southeast corner of Highway 71 and 42nd Street in Scottsbluff.
Elite Health Center will be a two-story, 75,000 square foot health and wellness facility with fourteen tenant suites, an indoor kids play area, community room, and other amenities. The kids indoor play area will be in the center atrium of the building which will have comfortable seating, access to the coffee shop offering healthy-eating choices, technology stations and access to an outdoor courtyard area. The atrium will be open to the second level providing excellent visibility to the second floor tenants. Elite Health Center will have a covered drop off area at the front entrance, a drive-thru for the coffee shop and abundant parking.
The medically-based wellness facility was created to promote health, create a place where patients can access multiple providers in one-stop (which is especially beneficial for children and elderly), create a unique medical facility with multiple medical specialties, and provide an incredible space for healthcare offices and employees of the facility.
The vision for the facility includes housing specialties such as dentistry, eyecare, physical therapy, chiropractic, podiatry, mental health, general medical care, massage therapy, a medical spa, and nutrition/weight management programs to name a few.
A fitness center will be a cornerstone of Elite Health Center and will be accessible to community members and employees of the facility and is in close proximity to the hospital to provide quick access to a fitness facility for hospital employees. A high quality early childhood development center will be housed in the facility and open to the public. Childcare will benefit many of the employee’s children as well as hospital employees and others in the community in need of daycare.
Webb Eyecare, Webb Orthodontics, and Dr. Matthew Henry and Dr. Luke Milmont of Pediatric Dentistry are among the committed tenants at this time. Other tenants include a physical therapist, coffee shop/eatery, childcare, fitness facility and a prominent national tenant. A few lease spaces remain open for other medical/wellness specialties with Elite Health Center providing the flexibility to meet square footage needs and spaces fully customizable by the tenant. The bid for this project was awarded to Hausmann Construction of Lincoln who has partnered with Anderson & Shaw Construction of Scottsbluff. The project is managed by Tetrad Property Group of Lincoln.
The construction of Elite Health Center is slated to begin in December with project completion in the spring of 2017.
