One person has been hospitalized following a two vehicle collision at the intersection of Highway 71 and 42nd Street.

Around 6:45 a.m., first responders were dispatched to an accident involving a Hyundai Santa Fe and a Saturn sedan.

The Nebraska State Patrol says Eugene Martin was driving northbound on Highway 71 in the Hyundai. At that time, Emily Harms was westbound on 42nd Street in her Saturn, entered the intersection, and was struck by the northbound vehicle.

Harms was transported to Regional West, where she is listed in good condition. Martin was seen standing outside of his vehicle with no apparent injuries.

Scottsbluff Police, Scottsbluff Fire Department, and Valley Ambulance all assisted in response to the crash.
