A Scottsbluff man will be in court Friday to make his first appearance on two charges of distribution of a controlled substance after he was allegedly involved in selling methamphetamine to a confidential informant working with the WING Drug task force.

Court documents say 45 year old Vincent Throckmorton sold the contraband to the informant near Seventh Day School on December 10th and then again to the same informant on December 16th near the Harms Center. The Nebraska State Patrol lab confirmed the substance obtained from Throckmorton tested positive for meth.

If convicted, Throckmorton could receive up to fifty years in prison on the two Class1D felonies.
