Scottsbluff pair arrested on drug distribution charges

A Scottsbluff man and woman are both facing felony controlled substance distribution charges after allegedly selling methamphetamine and pills in multiple transactions to WING Drug Task Force confidential informants.

53 year old Cindy Cress is facing two charges of distribution of methamphetamine.

And 57 year old Leon Hightower has two distribution charges. One is a class II felony methamphetamine distribution charge and the second is a class 1D felony controlled substance distribution charge, for allegedly selling Dilaudid pills within 317 feet of Roosevelt Elementary School in Scottsbluff.

Both were scheduled for first appearances on the charges Friday in Scotts Bluff County Court.
