Twin Cities Development today is holding an open house for their newly designed eCenter while hosting Gering High alum and entrepreneur Steve Schmutzer.
TCD Community and Economic Development Director Keith Ellis says with its new redesign, the eCenter will not only help businesses on the cusp of starting up but also provide a couple innovative rooms to help those in the very beginning stages.
Schmutzer, whose firm provides innovative equipment that allows the safe, efficient mobilization of hospital patients, applauds the eCenter concept and says the community needs to make sure a variety of businesses are being served to help expand the community’s economic base. Schmutzer says Scottsbluff-Gering has everything they need to successfully recruit new business.
The 2009 Colorado inventor of the year, Schmutzer will help this noon with a mock prospect visit presentation by the TCD closer’s group and speak at a community dinner and reception at the end of the day with community leaders.
