Two suspects in stabbing at Torrington bar captured in Scotts Bluff County

Two suspects are in custody in Scotts Bluff County in connection with an early morning stabbing of two people at a Torrington, Wyoming bar.

According to a release from the Torrington Police Department, officers from that department, Goshen County Sheriff and Torrington EMS were called to the Mint Bar on Main Street around 1:15 a.m. regarding an assault involving two stabbing victims.

Upon arrival, officers found a 35-year-old woman and 28-year-old man, both from Torrington, with stab wounds. The pair were treated at the scene before being transported to Community Hospital, where they are reported in stable condition.

Authorities in Torrington say the two suspects, a male and female, were apprehended with the assistance of Scottsbluff Police and Scotts Bluff County Sheriff’s deputies.

The suspect’s names are being withheld pending the filing of formal charges.
