District golf meets took place across the state for many schools on Monday. That included all the teams in the region so let’s take a look at how things shook out and who qualified for state.
Class B-4 District at Lake Maloney Course (North Platte)
Qualifying teams- North Platte 308, Cozad 338, McCook 339
Local individual qualifiers – 9. Cayden Jobman, Sidney, 81, 10. Crayten Cyza, Alliance, 82
-Alliance finished 4th, Scottsbluff 6th, and Gering was 9th

Class C-5 District at Cross Creek Golf Links (Cambridge)
Qualifying teams- Kimball 355, Perkins County 371, Valentine 385
Local individual qualifiers- 3. Drake Demasters, Bridgeport, 79 4. Dillon Wise, Kimball, 80 8. Zane Anthony, Kimball, 88 T-10. Burke Schneider, Mitchell, 90 T-10. Braeden Streumpler, Morrill, 90 T-10. Izaac Reuter, Kimball, 90
-Two other Kimball team members automatically qualified in Jesse Heide and Cole Henton.
-Mitchell just missed qualifying their team, finishing fourth only two shots back of third place Valentine (385).

Class D-5 District at River’s Edge Golf Course (North Platte)
Qualifying teams- St. Pat’s 360, Mullen 383, Hitchcock County 403
Local individual qualifiers- 1. Koby Walker, Mullen, 73 8. Joshua Cox, Mullen, 95 9. Wyatt Sandero, Garden County, 97
-Garden County just missed qualifying for state finishing in fourth place, Creek Valley was fifth, Crawford 7th, Hay Springs 8th.
