Express win on the road at Douglas, WY

The Westco Express won their season opener on the road on Thursday night over Douglas, Wyoming, by the final of 14-7.

The Express had two five run innings, posting the big crooked number in the 2nd and then again in the 5th.

They scored 14 runs on just eight hits on the night as Douglas pitchers walked 15 hitters and they committed three errors defensively.

K.J. Hartline finished 3-4 at the plate for the Express, he drove in one and scored three runs.

Aaron Price went 2-4 with three RBI and two runs scored.

On the hill the winning pitcher was Porter Robbins. Robbins started and worked into the 5th inning allowing four runs, three of which were earned, and he struck out five.
