Official release from E.W.C. from yesterday:

Eastern Wyoming College has named Tim Moser the next Head Coach of the Lancers Men’s Basketball team and Fitness Center Director. Following a highly competitive selection process that netted over 120 applicants, the College’s difficult decision included inputs received from three Open Forum sessions.

“Tim is an outstanding coach in both male and female basketball and is no stranger to hard work.  We are very excited to have him on board and look forward to his leadership and direction for our men’s team,” stated President Lesley Travers.  “Tim will bring a strong work ethic and maturity to EWC.  We know the community will support him as he returns to Eastern Wyoming College as the Head Men’s Basketball Coach for the Lancers.”

Mr. Moser has 25 years of basketball coaching experience including 14 years as a head coach in higher education, previous NJCAA and Region IX experience, and six years working at the NCAA Division 1 level. Tim’s overall win-loss record as both a head and assistant coach is 710-218. He graduated from EWC in 1989, earned his bachelor’s degree in 1998, possesses two master’s degrees and is currently working on a doctorate from Concordia University.

“I’m excited to be part of the EWC family again,” said Tim Moser. “Thank you all for this opportunity.”

EWC Athletic Director Tom Andersen welcomes Moser to the team. “I am pleased and excited to have Coach Moser in charge of the Men’s basketball program. It will be great to work with him as he joins the Lancer coaching team.”

Mr. Moser will officially begin his assigned duties on July 1, 2018.
