Colorado Christian downs Eagles

CHADRON – Taylor Sturms and Andi Weber each had 17 kills and the Colorado Christian volleyball team shrugged off a first set loss en route to their 23-25, 25-16, 25-11, 25-14 Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference victory over Chadron State Friday in Armstrong Gymnasium.

Chadron State will host Colorado School of Mines tonight (Saturday) in another RMAC match. First serve is set for 5 p.m.

The Eagles, now 3-11 overall and 1-4 in the conference, led the entire first set – they hit .122 in the frame – but they were unable to get things going the remainder of the match as their hitting percentage dropped each subsequent set.
