Pilkington helps pace CSC golfers

RAPID CITY, S.D. – Led by three top six finishers, the Chadron State College women's golf team shot a 372 and finished in the middle of the pack at the South Dakota School of Mines Triangular Friday afternoon at Hart Ranch.

Black Hills State took top honors with a 356, while South Dakota Mines shot a 389.

Schuyler Wetzel, a Hot Springs, S.D., native, fired a team-high 88 to sit alone in third place.

Emilee Pilkington and Darcy Vernon both shot rounds of 94 to tie for sixth place.

Also for Chadron State, Karissa Moreland shot 96 to finish in 11th and Emma Harris had a round of 97 to finish in 14th.

Other non-scoring golfers for Chadron State included Elysha Stahla (96), Nicole Pearson (106) and Nicole Tlustos (112).
