Classes A&D underway at state wrest;ing in Omaha

Class A & D wrestlers are on the mats this morning in Omaha at the State Wrestling Championships at the CenturyLink Center.

Hay Springs is two for two so far. Chris Ray at 120 and Levi Ray at 126 both picked up wins by pins this morning. Morrill got a 10-6 win from CJ Sidrow at 106.

Bayard has the largest area contingent with 10 wrestlers competing. Robert Niezwaag was the first to hit the mats for the Tigers at 120. He lost a major decision 12-0.

Crawford had 106-pounder Slade Martinez fall in the opening round 10-6. Minatare's Marc Cinnoco lost his first round match at 126 by a technical fall, 16-1 and Hemingford went 0 for 2. at 106 Cooper Weber lost 8-2 and at 113 Lee Jespersen lost by a pin at the 4:24 mark.
