GNAC soccer tournament coming to Scottsbluff

Scottsbluff High School will host the Greater Nebraska Athletic Conference Soccer Tournament this Friday and Saturday. All four fields at the Landers Complex will be in use beginning with first round girls action at 3 p.m. Friday.

Kearney is the top seed for both the boys and girls competition. They will tangle with Lexington in first round girls play. Other first round girls contests will match 5th seeded Hastings against No. 4 Norfolk, 3rd seeded Columbus is matched against 6th seeded Scottsbluff, and No. 2 North Platte tangles with 7th seeded Gering.

First round boys action will follow at 5 p.m. Kearney will take on No. 8 Gering. No. 2. Lexington will play 7th seeded Scottsbluff, 3rd seeded Hastings will battle No. 6 North Platte and 4th seeded Norfolk will play 5th seeded Columbus.

Games will be played at 10 a.m., 2 p.m. and 4 p.m. on Saturday.
