Lady Eagles fall in Pueblo

PUEBLO, Colo. - Colorado State University of Pueblo beat Chadron State College 62-41 in a Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference women's basketball game Saturday at Massari Arena.

Kattie Ranta was the only Eagle to finish in double digits, scoring 27 points and six rebounds.

Hattie Guzman added seven points to go along with four rebounds and three assists for the Eagles.

The ThunderWolves, who led wire-to-wire, were led by Erica Hicks who finished with 18 points and five rebounds. Laurel Kearsley finished with 11 for Pueblo.

Pueblo forced 23 Eagle turnovers and added 14 offensive rebounds.

The Eagles travel to Black Hills State to face the Yellow Jackets in their season finale Saturday, March 2.
