Platte Valley Companies wins at Oshkosh

A five game road trip to close out the regular season started in good fashion for the Platte Valley Companies senior legion baseball team. Doug Jones' team won in Oshkosh Sunday night 10-3.

PVC had 11 hits and use a four run third and three run fourth inning to put the game on ice. Danny O'Boyle paced the team with three hits and two rbi. Ethan McDaniel went the distance on the mound.

PVC is now 22-18 on the season. They have two games scheduled at Sterling Monday. They will close out their regular season with two games at Wheatland Tuesday. A 5 p.m. game against Gillette and one to follow with Wheatland will be the KNEB-AM and kneb.com games of the week.
