Pepler tourney to benefit Coyotes
The Scotts Bluff County Coyotes will be the benefactors of the Andy Pepler Memorial Golf Tournament that will be held this Saturday at the Scotts Bluff Country Club.
Special Olympics Unified SportsĀ® is a program that combines Special Olympic Athletes and athletes without cognitive disabilities (partners) on sports teams for training and competition. Unified SportsĀ® is an important program because it expands sports opportunities for athletes seeking new challenges and dramatically increases inclusion in the community. The Coyotes compete in basketball, volleyball, softball and golf.
The proceeds of this tournament make it possible for over 150 Scotts Bluff County athletes to participate in these sports and travel to compete with other teams.
This tournament proudly honors Andy Pepler's spirit and determination to succeed as well as his willingness to get involved with others and impact their lives. To register contact the Scotts Bluff Country Club golf shop at 635-1844 or visit their website at www.scottsbluffcc.com.
Sponsorship opportunities are also available. Participation in this tournament insures that these young athletes have opportunities to participate for many years to come.
