Miller wins 2nd straight GNAC title

Scottsbluff Seacat senior Noah Miller highlighted day one of the Greater Nebraska Athletic Conference Swimming and Diving Meet Friday at the Splash Arena in Scottsbluff.

He won his second straight GNAC title with a personal best effort in an 11-dive meet. His total of 363.5 bested his previous personal best of 324. His total was just 4 1/2 points off the school record. Chase Hopper of Norfolk was a distant second with a score of 328.40.

Miller will make his third straight trip to the state meet in Lincoln February 27-March 1.

The GNAC meet will conclude today at the Splash Arena. Events in the pool get started at 10 a.m. Columbus, Hastings, Kearney, McCook, Norfolk and North Platte are other teams competing.
