Creighton vs Wichita State picked for TV

ST. LOUIS, Mo. -- ESPN notified the Missouri Valley Conference of its selection of the Wichita State at Creighton men¹s basketball game for air on
ESPN or ESPN2 on Saturday, March

The game will remain as a netflex option for either ESPN or ESPN2 to be
determined and confirmed seven-ten days out.

On March 2, #16/13 Creighton -- 20-4 overall and 9-3 in league action --
plays host to #22 Wichita State -- 19-5 overall and 8-4 in league play -- at
CenturyLink Center Omaha in downtown Omaha, Nebraska.

The selection of this telecast for ESPN or ESPN2 marks the sixth time that
ESPN has used a ³Wildcard² process to determine one of its MVC men¹s
basketball telecasts. The ESPN or ESPN2 telecast will also be simulcast on
ESPN3 -- ESPN¹s multi-screen sports network that gives fans a 24/7
destination delivering thousands of live, global sports events annually.

Using the Wildcard Weekend model, the league ‹ through its television
partners ESPN, FOX Sports Midwest, FOX College Sports and Comcast SportsNet
Chicago ‹ reserves clearance windows for March dates in the fall of each
academic year and waits until the midpoint of both the men¹s and women¹s
basketball seasons to determine its final regular-season telecasts for both
genders.

The week prior to the March 2 telecast, four Missouri Valley Conference
teams will participate in the 11th annual Ramada Worldwide BracketBusters
event.

Indiana State will play host to Iona at 10 a.m. Central on ESPNU, while
Wichita State will entertain Detroit at 3 p.m. Central on either ESPN or
ESPN2. Creighton will play at Saint Mary¹s at 5 p.m. Central on either ESPN
or ESPN2, while UNI will play host to Denver in a 7 p.m. Central game on
ESPN3.
