Aratani selected for Shrine Bowl game

Scottsbluff High School's Andrew Aratani, who last week inked to play college football at Northwestern College in Orange City Iowa, has been selected to play in the 56th Annual Nebraska Shrine Bowl Football Game June 7 in Kearney.

Aratani, who played on the offensive and defensive line for the Bearcats, will play for the North team. Sidney's Tucker Wintholz will also play for the squad, directed by head coach Arnie Johnson of Boone Central.

They are the only two area players selected for the game. Jason Hale of Holdrege is the head coach for the South team.
