The family of an Alliance woman and her two children who passed away in a tragic traffic accident last weekend on Angora Hill is reaching out to thank the community for their support.

Carlos Reza tells KNEB News the outpouring of assistance from Alliance-area residents and businesses has been amazing. “Not in a thousand years would I have thought our family got this much support,” says Reza. “It’s just unbelievable how a small community can come together the way they have. It’s just so unbelievable.”

Carlos tells us his two other daughters, Dana and Bailey, are especially thankful for the support received from family, friends and those who knew the family. Reza’s daughter’s softball team has been making bracelets, and businesses such as a corner grill, Taco John’s Daylight Donuts and Williams Jewelry have all been conducting fundraising efforts.

Funeral services for Amy Red Nest and daughters Emma and Falicia Reza will be Friday at 10am at the Alliance Eagles Club… Alliance Public Schools are closed for the day so staff and students may attend.
