The Nebraska Department of Transportation has re-opened a 130-plus mile stretch of Interstate 80 and Highway 30 in western Nebraska.
NDOT announced the re-opening around 9:45 a.m. Tuesday morning, after shuttering the roadway for over 10 hours.
NDOT originally shut down the roads in the Nebraska Panhandle around 11:30 p.m. Monday night, saying that “hazardous weather, road conditions and multiple slide offs” led to the closure.
