The State Wrestling Championships are wrapping up today in Omaha.

Consolation semifinal matches started at 7:30 MT this morning with the third and fifth place matches to follow.
The finals for all weight classes will begin at 1 pm MT.
There are eight wrestlers from the Panhandle that are vying for state titles including a Scottsbluff vs. Gering showdown at 120 pounds in Class B.
Paul Garcia for Scottsbluff will take on Gerings Paul Ruff with Garcia, a junior, looking for his third straight state championship.

B 113 lbs – Quinton Chavez, Gering vs. Braiden Kort, Adams Central
B 120 lbs – Paul Garcia, Scottsbluff vs. Paul Ruff, Gering
B 138 lbs – Nate Rocheleau, Gering vs. Collin Quandt, Northwest
D 113 lbs – Eli Paxton, Mullen vs. Scout Ashburn, Plainview
D 120 lbs – Teven Marshall, Mullen vs. Cyrus Wells, Anselmo-Merna
D 145 lbs – Colton Holthus, Garden County vs. Chase Palowski, Pleasanton
D 220 lbs – Clayton Hassett, Mullen vs. Luke Howitt, Maxwell
